About BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB)
BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad, is an autonomous research institute under the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC), funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. Its research focuses on animal genetics and genomics, transgenic and reproductive technology, diseases, nutritional enrichment and bioinformatics, aiming at improved animal health and productivity.
