About BRIC-National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (BRIC-NIBMG)
BRIC-National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG) is an autonomous institution established by the Government of India under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, and is the first institution in India explicitly devoted to research, training, translation, service and capacity-building in biomedical genomics. Located in Kalyani, West Bengal, near Kolkata, its research focuses on understanding the molecular basis of disease using genomics and integrative biology.
