BRIC-Institute of Life Sciences (BRIC-ILS), Bhubaneswar, is an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. It carries out multidisciplinary life-science research aimed at human health, longevity, agriculture and the environment, with work on vector-borne diseases such as malaria and filaria, viral infections and cancer biology, and it trains skilled researchers for India.
