Job Description
BRIC-National Brain Research Centre (NBRC) invites applications for the position of Research Associate I under the DBT funded project "Role of Pax6(+) cortical progenitors in the etiology of Autism Spectrum Disorder" (Advertisement No. Acad./14/2026, dated 30.10.2026).
Interested candidates fulfilling the requirements can submit a duly filled in application as per the attached format along with CV and self-attested copies of certificates in support of their qualifications and experience. Project Investigator: Dr. Dhananjay Huilgol, BRIC-NBRC
Tenure: One year, renewable for two more years on successful review of performance. The post is co-terminus with the project.

No TA/DA will be payable to candidates for attending the interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
Qualifications
- Essential: Ph.D. in Science or Engineering, or an M.D./M.S. degree in any area of medicine, with research interests in Development and Neuroscience, and a good academic record with at least one first-author publication arising from the PhD work.
- Desirable: Experience in cell culture, primary culture, biochemistry, molecular biology including CRISPR- or shRNA-mediated gene manipulation. Experience in animal handling, confocal microscopy, lentivirus or Adeno Associated Virus-mediated genetic manipulation will be a valuable addition.
- Age limit: Maximum 40 years (as on the last date of receipt of application).
