Job Description
Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida, invites applications for the position of Scientist-C at the Amity Institute of Click Chemistry Research & Studies (AICCRS). The institute is seeking candidates with strong research credentials, an excellent publication record, experience in sponsored research projects, and expertise in advanced analytical instrumentation, particularly nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR).
The selected candidate will support research funding development, interdisciplinary research activities, advanced instrumentation management, academic coordination, and research mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply for national and international sponsored research projects as Principal Investigator (PI) or Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI).
- Increase external research funding and industry-sponsored research projects.
- Strengthen interdisciplinary and translational research activities.
- Support the operation, maintenance, and scientific management of advanced research instrumentation, including the NMR facility.
- Assist in academic coordination, research training, and mentoring of research scholars and students.
- Promote high-quality research publications, patents, technology development, and collaborative research programmes.
Qualifications
- M.Pharm. or M.Sc. in Chemical, Biological, or Molecular Sciences.
- Ph.D. from a premier institution.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also apply.
- Minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of postdoctoral experience.
Demonstrated experience in obtaining and executing sponsored research projects as PI or Co-PI.
Strong publication record in reputed international journals.
Relevant experience with advanced analytical instrumentation, particularly NMR.
